Acer, produsen yang juga sangat eksis di dunia notebook ini ternyata juga tak mau ketinggalan dengan terjun langsung di dunia smartphone. Kali ini Acer dengan seri Liquid Express menggebrak pasar smartphone kelas menengah dan bernaung di bawah bendera Android. Desain Liquid Mini (pendahulunya) nampaknya berperan penting dalam pembentukan smartphone Acer Liquid Express ini, bagaimana tidak, desainnya bisa dibilang 99% mirip hanya saja layarnya lebih lebar yakni 3.5 inci.
Acer Liquid Express telah dibekali dengan prosesor yang cukup bertenaga, sebuah chip Qualcomm berkecepatan 800 MHz siap menghandle aktifitas komputasi, berdampingan dengan OS Android 2.3 Gingerbread yang dimilikinya tentu akan menjadi duet yang cukup menarik.
